Equality Duty
The Headteacher, Staff and School Board of Jupiter Primary School are aware of their responsibility under the Equality Act 2010, which requires schools to have due regard to the need to:
- Eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimisation and all other conduct that is prohibited by the Act
- Advance equality of opportunity between people who share a protected characteristic and people who do not share it
- Foster good relations across all characteristics- between people who share a protected characteristic and people who do not share it.

Jupiter Equality Statement
At Jupiter Primary, we have reviewed our Equality Objectives Action Plan, which is attached below. The Trust is committed to establishing a clear framework in which to govern the treatment of all students within our schools, therefore seeking to remove human prejudice from the decision-making process and overcoming any inequality, ensuring that every child and young person that attends one of our schools receives an education which offers them the best chance at fulfilling their potential.
